Default what do I need to fit 35's on my 97 4x4

I have a 97 4x4 and I'm running 285/75r16's now with no rub, but I want to go to 315/75r16's. Can I get enough lift by cranking the torsion bars?? If not what will I need to clear them??

not true.

Cranking the torsion bars all the way up will allow you to fit 35's. assuming the wheel wells are the same size as a 2002.

Crank the torsion bars up and trimming the front valance some and they will fit.. you might get some rubbing at full lock but you'll be good to go.

what about alignment issues with cranking them up or the front end being too high like a baja truck?

why would you spend all that money on 5 inches of lift and only put 33's on your truck when it takes zero mods to a stock truck too fit that size? It look "hillbilly". with 35's on a t-bar crank there still isnt any fitment problems, chance are your truck will never flex those extra 14 inches any way. so why not use that space.

33" tires look fine with 5" lift and that truck gets used and abused and he has flexed the **** out of that truck. And I think those tires actually rate higher than 33" but I might be wrong. I thought they were 34".

And I don't see why you have to say his truck is hillbilly. I plan on doing the same setup on my truck. I use my truck all the time as does he. Maybe you don't use your truck offroad. Just because you can stuff 35" on a stock vehical means nothing.

why in the hell would you put 5 inches of lift on a truck, and STUFF the BIGGEST tire you can fit... you get no flex what so ever, meaning, you can't off road to its full potential.... why in the hell would you put a lift on a truck if you can't drive it any differently off road, than when it was stock???? you might as well put a pink bow on the roof of the cab and park it at a car show, because that's about as far as you'll get.... i think blackbeast FX4 has an awesome set up and he can actually USE IT! key word, he put money into something that he can USE... not park and show off
