my ranger. momentum is great but anyone can get up the hill with enough speed, what makes it fun for me is to nose up to the bottom of the hill and mash it and dig my way to the top. makes it more of a challenge.

Lol yep. What year Ranger? I had a '91. 2wd though.

Mine had the 4.0 in it too. That engine is a monster! When I sold mine it had 240k on it and it still ran strong!

yes i agree, both ford 4.0's are great (SOHC and OHV) ive had 2 other rangers with the 4.0 and one had 245,000 on it and the other had 160,000 when i sold them and both ran like a top. they are great little trucks really. of the 4 rangers ive had ranging from model years 1986 to 2001 ive had very little serious issues with them besides normal wear and tear items.

Nice ranger, and its fun at the dunes sitting at the top watching people getting a 1/4 mi head start at test hill and catching air off of the whoops at the bottom, i like to nose up to the bottom too and tryin to make it up.
