For my Fabtech 6" lift I was quoted $1300 for install with no alignment. Found a guy on Craigslist who did it for $400. Just as a side note the lift it self was $2900.

I would personally stay away from a Body Lift if I were you. Idk your budge but I would try to stick strictly with suspension lift. See if you can't find something around 8-10+ inches in your year model, or better yet, go with a Solid Axle Swap. Much stronger and you will come out cheaper than a really tall suspension lift kit and get rid of those stupid torsion bars.

Are torsion bars really so fragile that they're worth getting rid of in favour of a coilover?

If you looking to hardcore off-road getting rid of them would be best. If your just looking to jack your truck way up, its not neccessary.

Your truck looks awesome, giving me motivation. As soon as i have the $ to indulge with i too will have my lift. I live in a high flood area, so i need the help lol.
