Question UCA

I was wondering what are the advantages to an aftermarket UCA. How much more travel/flex do you get? How much stronger are they? would it help on an other wise stock suspension? Are they worth it?

If you are mainly stock don't waste the money unless you need new uca's because you have bad ball joints.

No issues with them but with a three inch leveling kit you'll wear ball joints rather quickly. What are you trying to accomplish?

I want to lift without going real high and the tuff country 3" suspension lift is a leveling kit with different uca designed to eliminate problems with ball joints. If I was going with just a leveling kit I wouldn't go over 2",but I wanted a little more height than that

Do aftermarket UCAs offer more articulation/flex?

Spend the money and get a 4 inch lift you'll be a lot happier in end.

They will give you 1" or so of droop travel and are a lot stronger than stock. I've personally never heard of someone breaking an oem Uca so the strength part is more of a bonus thing with them. The UCA with the most added caster to help with big leveling kits is camburg.
