Truck leveling help

i think snowhite might be slightly unique here... most people that want to keep their factory wheels is because they are OK with the look of their factory wheels and new wheels are adding a lot when you couple that with new bigger tires... with quality spacers, you're looking at $300 a set (and i would in no case go with cheap ones for any reason) so for that, maybe $100 more you can get rims with the proper offset. I'm not knocking snowhite fo r running spacers even though i don't like them (even when they are quality) but you really aren't saving much money if any

Depends, rwd you don't really want more then 2.5 inches up front because it stiffens the ride and your not gaining any travel. 4wd no more then 3.0 for the same reason. The wear and tear on your ball joints will have an impact if you plan on doing them long term. With that said it depends on a lot of factors because I'm really rough on my truck on and off road. A quality level would be sufficient but I recommend shelling out for some Bilstein's your over all ride quality will be better.
I didn't go with those because I plan to lift my truck anyway. But I can tell you from experience it is a rougher ride and your wheel travel isn't much. Gets you out of that "f15dy boyz" look though haha. Make sure to do it right and ask a lot of questions.

i have a 3" and i tear cv boots, my ball joints are at terrible angles as well as my tie rods and my upper control arm touches the coil on full droop.
with the 1/2 spacers i've never seen them that are quality and hub centric which would make me stay away from those if it were me. tons of people run spacers with no issues but tons of people also have problems... if you were gonna run quality ones that are hub centric because you are in love with the factory wheels that's likely the safest situation but even then, you need to check and recheck the torque on the lugs holding the spacer on relatively frequently
