Toyo Open Country All Terrain 285/75/17's (34/11.5/17)

i was pretty impressed! one of my friends with nitto terra grapplers and another with dynapro m/t's went with me. the guy with the grapplers' truck would slip off the road into ditches where it wasnt even a problem with my tires. the one ditch i got into they pulled me out pretty easy too. it rained so much up here over the last couple days some of these roads are crazy! im really likin these tires. still kinda wish i woulda got the m/t's though. just got back from muddin, so i figured id share all this lol

Great tires, but poor wear.

I've also noticed that with even the same tires, different trucks will act differently. Gearings, lockers, LS, driver, vehicle weight, etc all play a big role. So it's hard to compare it to the terra grappler or dynapros on a 1:1 basis.

What kind of mud did you play in? Any pics?

yeah i know theres too many other factors to really compare the other trucks by their tires alone, i was just saying. but yeah a lot of the red dirt roads way out of town are just plain horrible this week. some are even flooded. and the ditches are even worse, so if you slip into one of em its so hard to get out. didnt take any pics, it was rainin pretty hard the whole time. been rainin for the past two days around here. and about the toyo's, ive heard they wear really good. i guess ill find out.
