I just started running 285/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac. I have out them thru snow/rain/mud/sand and they are amazing.

Nitto trail graps. They're pretty popular on here.

when i bought my 79 it had BFG MT on it i hated them sidewalls were weak and i was running rocks through them, then i bought some Maxxis buckshots they were better fine in mud but so good in snow. Then i went to boggers i love them i have yet to chain them up. Not very good on the highway but the truck doesn't see a lot highway. Thanks for the input i am looking for some new tires for my 07. Any pros or cons to tires you run?

Goodyear DuraTracs or Cooper STT Tek3.

Goodyear only has a 2-ply sidewall but it's been a non issue for me. Have had them for almost 5 years, 50k miles, and I'm just about to take them off for my coopers.

The coopers rode like a cloud and look awesome but were a little noisy. About to put them back on soon!
