If you're main criteria for an all terrain tire is how long it lasts perhaps the michelin ltx is something you should consider or bfg all terrain.

The bad thing about the michelins is they are expensive as hell from what ive seen. $300-ish a tire if im not mistaken. Bfg all terrain is great also the toyo open country a/t is too. If you are looking for the most aggresive all terrain id say the procomp xtreme all terrain or the dick cepek FC 2

Pro comps I have no desire to have, I want a real aggressive at that gets great mileage, has good road manors, and is great on and offroad. Is a heavy tire bad to have? Like on the engine and trans etc?

Heavy tire = harder to turn = poor mpg and potenial drivetrain wear. Your best bet would probably be the bfg all terrain. They last forever and are aggressive as far as all terrains go.

Edit: i forgot to mention the dick cepek FC 2. Idk how great they are for milage but they are a great looking all terrain. If i were to switch to an all terrain id get these.

I'm in the boat of new tires as well. Any news on the Firestone destination a/t? I've always loved Firestone tires.

My buddy has them in LT 265/75/R16 on his 03 SCrew and hates them. They are wearing really badly and even chunking from minor off road use on well maintained trails.

The firestones are a good tire, a freind of mine had 36" and they were great, but a little squirrely in the rain/water. They have a really hard tread compound and i dont beleive they have any sipes

Edit: i thout you were talking about the M/T and not the A/T sorry
