tire and rim size?
Im new to trucks, I was a car guy in highschool, got my first truck about a year ago ad was hooked... I recently bought an 05 f150 king ranch 4x4 and im about to start ordering parts... the plan is a 6" susp lift, 3" body lift, 37 inch tires and 20 inch rims... first issue im having is this..
I want to order a set of Nitto Mud Grapplers and the tire size is
37X13.50R20/10
I want to order a set of (Gear Alloy 715C Recoil) rims, but here is where i get lost, the rims are listed as 20x9...
what is the 9 and does it need to be 9 or to i need to find a different set of rims on a different site... might be a stupid question, i just dont want to drop 1200 dollars on rims and 1700 dollars on tires and not have everything right

You may be able to fit a tire bigger then a 37 however you will not get much life out of your truck that big. Those tires are far too big for half ton independent front suspension and differentials.
Get 37's and ditch the 3 inch body lift. It will look awesome as is and be lots big. If you want a huge truck, it's time for a superduty. I broke a ton of stuff on my f150 to the point that it was undriveable without something new breaking. It had the front end replaced monthly almost where my straight axle f250 has been absolutely fine.
37/12.50/whatever rims you go with will be fine. Anything wider will give you problems as it's not so much the height but the width.
