Default Tire opinions, please

I am looking to get some new tires very soon. I want an aggressive look, but I don't want to totally kill my gas mileage. I am planning on going with my factory 265/70 17's, but would love to go bigger.....if that is possible without any kind of lift. They will be going on my stock height 2003 Supercrew FX4. I want the aggressive look and reliability of the MT's, but I might need the AT's.....I mostly stay on the roads for now, as the truck is my daily driver. Please help with tire opinions, as well as size options and not overkilling.

I am open to suggestions, but for economical reasons, I have the following ideas:

Mastercraft Courser M/T
Maxxis Buckhorn M/T
Geneal Grabber AT2
Kenda Klever M/T (I have no opinions on these, just found them)

a user by the name of general lee had the maxxis buckshots and loved them, thats all i can say about the choices youve posted. i know you can fit a 33" tire on a stock 4wd in our year class. i have a set of mickey mtz's on mine, if you can swing the price i highly reccomend them. they have 10,000 miles on em and still have about 50% tread and do great in mud and on slick trails. not shabby for an m/t. i know the duratrac wranglers also last a long time, but they are pricey. hope this helps

Well here is a look at what 285/70/17s BFG TA/KOs look like on a screw. Just a tad bigger but enough to notice.

f1504L1F3, Have you had any speedo or rubbing issues with the 285's....or do you have a front leveling kit?

No issues at all. My speedo was already off by like 3 mph fast before i put these on and now it is dead on. (IDK how that happened) as far as rubbing, none at all. They fit perfect and fill the wheel wells out nicely. No lift, haven't turned up my torsion bars, it is all stock height 4x4.

Good deal, I might just have to start focusing on the 285's.

I haven't heard anything about the Kenda Klever M/T from anybody. I was hoping that someone would have some kind of experience with them, or knew somebody that did.

Below is a link to them, could you guys give me some opinions?

BFG at's are very good tires I don't know where you are from but they get me though mud and snow and hold onto ice very well. They are petty Tough and i haven't been the easiest driver on them. However the side wall is almost indented and doesn't give them a good look from most angles.
