Default Tire and motor suggestions

Hey I'm guessing there are other threads on this but I can't search off my phone so I figured I'd start a new one.
I have a 97 f150 super cab 4x4 and I'm upgrading from my 275/75r16 hankook atm's for some 33x10.5's but I'm not sure what type of tire to get. I live in northern mn so I get all the seasons. Busting snow, mud, and about everything in between. Any suggestions on a tire that is good both on road and off?

Also I wanna build up my 4.6L so I can rely on being able to go anywhere so tips there help too.
Thanks

Unless you drive like Jehu I'd suggest regearing your diffs rather than redoing the 4.6l.

X2, I agree with surrey. IF you would regear for that 4.6L correctly the rest should fall into place as you go and may help with your decision on future upgrades. Just my opinion

A good way to get performance on and off highway is to buy a tough set of street tires and chain up when you leave the road. Cheaper, better fuel mileage, and better traction that any rubber will give you.

Ya I was thinking about changing out the gears in the rear end. I know that's going to make a big difference once I get the new tire. I don't really wanna go with chains though, I'm looking for something that will hook up in snow/ice for road driving and off road. Yet be able to grab in mud too during the summer. Basically it's a daily driver that hits ditches, fields and trails. Just about anything it can go through it does.
