run my terragrapplers at 45psi normally. Every time I've taken my truck out on sand, I've left the front's at 45 and dropped the rears to 25 or 30, depending on how my mood is for the day. Usually run it ***** to the walls too...
Running 20's here too, 305 wides though. The wider the contact patch of the tire, the better off you are. But on those all seasons, I'd definitely not keep the skinny pedal mashed. Kick in in 4 hi, turn traction control off, and just putt around gently. You'll be fine.

Tire inflation advice is not nearly as important as how to DRIVE on sand. No sudden starts or stops. If you can, let the sand stop your truck. Don't gun it from a dead stop unless you're trying to bury your tires. As soon as you start slipping, digging, and not moving, let off of the gas.

TKS..... Last time at the 4x4 OBX we ran with and without low air, and yes big difference.
Just hoping there was a way to disable the warning for a week. pita
With Sandy a few years ago the beach looks a lot narrower than last time we went.
I had to drive thru the surf a couple of times back then. Looks like lowering the air pressure this time will be a must.
