Default Suspension lift for my 2008

I have a 2008 Ford F-150 4x4. I want to lift my truck 6" with 35x12.50 tires. I really just want it for the look and don't go off roading, just for the look. Who knows maybe in the future I'll find a spot to throw some mud. But for now and for a while I won't be doing any off roading anytime soon. I was thinking either the bds lift, pro comp lift, or rough country lift. I don't know which one I should get. If I'm going to be on the street all the time, do I need a crazy lift? Or will the rough country be enough? Really worried about price and the fact i won't be off roading. What do yall think?

You will be fine with any 3 of those kits.

What is your budget?

Some people are very happy with just leveling it out and adding some bigger tires.

It will come down to how much you want to spend.

Well, I really don't want to spend that much honestly. I would really like to get the rough country lift but people say it isn't good and stiff to ride? I just want the lift for looks. What makes the 4" inch good but not the 6"? I have a leveling kit on right now, can I put my 35s on it?

Go with the 6 inch lift you'll be glad you did. There is no difference in the two other then how far the drop brackets come down and the length of the new spindles. Rough country is a good lift for light to moderate off road. They are cheaper mainly because they are using a spacer on top of the front strut to fill the gap versus using a taller front strut. If you have a lot of miles on the truck you might want to look at the other lifts so you'll get new struts. The taller struts are also valved better for the weight of the larger tires and will give a better ride over a stock length strut.

depends what wheels you plan on running... and I never said the 6" RCX was not a good lift ...the 4" is cheaper... and it was already suggested to you by Jay to just run a level.. not sure what your budget is...

Budget in the range around $1500 for the lift. I hope and plan to get the nitto mud or trail trappers. 35x12.50. Have a 2.5 inch level will the 35s fit with the level?

Is the $1500 for just the lift or the lift plus install?

If it's for just the lift, you can go with either the RCX 4" or 6" lift kit.

You will be happy with either one.

If you decided on just keeping the leveling kit and want to fit 35's, it will come down to the size of the wheels and the offset. You might have to do a little trimming too.
