Suspension
Hey y'all, been using the forum forever and finally decided to make an account.
I want to increase the front suspension travel of my 2000 f150 but it's also a daily driver so I don't need anything too crazy just something with that would give me the prerunner lean and better performance off road. I'm pretty sure they don't make front coil overs for 97-03's so could I just add longer fox shocks and longer springs to accomplish this?

Longer shocks and springs arent going to increase your travel. A CST LT kit is probably the cheapest way to do it.
If you just want a lift, some lift spindles, coils, upper arms and fox 2.0 resivior shocks would do slightly better then stock off road.

Thanks bubba @M&D I hadn't heard of CST and after doin some digging that sounds like the setup for me added travel but not too hardcore, and Surrey Boy I'm just runnin geolander ats 265's now but with the CST long travel Id put on 33's or 35's

I just did a 3'' lift and while it looks great , the front end bounces over bumps while going slow. I imagine it is the angle of the A arms. the stiff cheap shocks that came with the kit. its a 01 150. 4x4. on the lift spindles will it work with the front shafts? it looks like they would be short and or bind the CV joints. Is there a fix to this?

is that nascar approved?
to the o.p., is your truck 2 or 4wd? this can save a ton of confusion cause the 4wd trucks use torsion and the 2wd use coils.. of its a 2wd then DONT add a lift spring because it will eliminate almost all downtravel in your front end.. a spindle will give you height but no real travel increase. in order to truly get better performance not just a tighter front end (what a pair of good shocks and heim upper a arms will give you) you have to look into a kit like the cst.. if your 4wd then i cant help ya haha
