Default Suggestions on lifts

I have a 2008 f150 5.4l v8 4x4 I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions or tips of what 3" to 4" suspension lift I should have, I have 18x9 xd monster wheelie wrapped in just a little bigger then 33" nitto trail grapplers. I have a hellbent steel 2.5" leveling kit on it now, Would I need to take off the leveling kit? Or if I keep it on will it wreck or mess anything up? Thanks.

Best way to go in terms of ride quailty and offroad performance would be a 2.5" Coilover system. ICON, King & Fox all make excellent kits.
