it wont that much. you will notice a little bit, but not much. especially with a manual transmission. i ran 35's on the stock 3.55s and a mildly built 302 and could spin them on dry pavement.

O cool that will save me a lot of money. The only thing that I have done to my truck is a no muffler exhaust turned in front of the back tire and a crappy chip.

yeah, the 302 with the 5-speed transmission is a fairly powerful/decent setup. i dont imagine it being much of a hassle at all. hell, i towed an 18' ski boat with that same setup i said earlier and could barely tell i had it back there. lol. are you running any lift?

I am looking to buy a rough country 4 inch lift once I get some money.

I have had my truck loaded down before, last month I had 2 tons of rock in thed back, I have also had 1 ton of hay in the back with a trailer with another 3 tons of hay, towing it 30 or so miles most of it up hill, it kept a steady 60 mph with out even trying.

I use my truck more as a truck than I do an off road toy, so I was kinda hesitent about going bigger, but you cleared all that up for me
