Default Shock contacting leaf spring

Anyone else run into this problem? The fox shock body contacts the rear leaf spring with full down travel. I'm running 35s on the 6" BDS lift. I rarely have this much flex, but it sure is fun when i get the chance.

Any thoughts on how to remedy this situation, besides not leaving the driveway?

Can you put a a couple washers on the shock mounts, between the mount and the shock? To space it away from the leaf slightly.

Is that at full droop or fully flexed?
Limit straps are your friend

I'll check. Thanks for the suggestion

That's close to full flex. Are limit straps necessary on rigs where the shocks don't rub? I thought the leaf springs would limit down travel and the bump stops limit up travel.

I think i understand the purpose of limit straps, but what's their intended application?

Limits straps, from what I know with my jeep is the same restriction idea but in the opposite direction. Limit straps stop the axle from going down any farther so that you don't lose a coil spring (I know that doesn't mean anything for f150's but like I said I'm used to jeeps).

I would try adding some washers if you can to space the shock away. But limit straps definitely would be a useful investment.

It's not going to rub at full droop only when the rear-end articulates like the pic you posted. A limit strap would help.
