Default Running rough after going through water

Last night I crossed a pond and not my trucks misfiring and bogging. I'm thinking I should take off my air intake and clean it out. Any other suggestions?

you will probly have to chang plugs and wires, clean your TB also check you starter for any cracks. yeah went puddle hopping in mine in the water hit a hot starter and cracked it almost in half. look at you air fliter see if it got wet as well. after you pull the plugs take a air hose and blow out the holes to make sure you dont have dirt getting in the head.

It's probably your coil packs. Take them out and dry them. Then clean any water where where the coils go in. I have had this problem before and all I did was completely dry every thing and it worked like new.

If you can try leaving them out for a day or two in the sun and make sure the plugs are nice and dry and that there is no water in the holes for the plugs. If that doesn't work you may need to replace some of the coil packs. Are you getting any misfire codes? That's the easiest way to see what cylinders are bad.

Check the alternator and do a scan. Maybe a sensor went bad.
