I know this maybe a stupid question but I don't have a trailor hitch on the back of my truck, so where should I hook up to for a recovery point on the back if I get stuck. I know the bumper and the rear axle is not a good place to use.

You want to anchor back to the frame, would something like this get you low enough to clear the bottom of your bumper?

I just looked at it and unfortunatly it looks like it would sit to far up for it to work.

i think i would just buy a receiver hitch for it, might need it for something towing at sometime too

Inexpensive hitch with a slide in for the recovery point is going to probably be the easiest and possibly cheapest....
