Straps , shovel , jack, for a minimum. Never hurts to have a friend with a 4x4 and maybe a few hundred $ for a tow truck. Post vids of the action!

I have a 30ft Towstrap, come-along, Machete (You would be surprised really helps if you need to create a path), high jack, 10ft section of chain, and my buddy with his winch! I always go riding with a buddy.

Ya gotta have a 9500 lb winch and a good tow strap. You have to be able to reach out 125 feet or so. Mount a spade and axe up above or inside the side of the box, up to you. Good for deep woods now.

Thinking about getting the Rough Country Hidden winch and 9500lb matching winch for my FX2.

The guy at Rough Country stated I would need a 12000lb winch, can anyone confirm this?

Are you planning on hanging it up under the bridge every night? You'll really possibly may test the truck frame with 120,000 lb winch. Best for Big frame rigs not F150.

Not planning on hanging it anywhere....so I would be fine with the 9500? BTW, I said 12000 not 120,000

When you move up to 12,000 lb you have no room on the spool, it is stuffed. Not so good if it gets gnarley in there with mud and winds of cable in there some. Do you wish the synthetic rope, some swear by it for ease of useage. Sorry for quickly adding a zero there. LOL

What winch mount are you running? Looks like Warn.....I would only like to outrig the truck for the winch, not really planning on going wheelin, just precautionary measures for bad conditions
