Default Rancho guys does this look normal? (pics inside)

Ive had these on for about a year. The rust seems kinda extream on the back shocks. The fronts dont seem too bad to me but i could be wrong. So for the guys who know more about this stuff is this normal or should i start looking into other kits?

Sent your pictures to my local shop. Said you need to call Rancho. That isn't normal. He opened his shop in 1974 so he knows what he is talking about.

Based on the rust I see in the surrounding areas, I would guess you drive on some salted roads and consider this pretty normal.

The rust on the body is normal but the rust spot in the hardened chromed rod is not normal.

My new Monroe struts are rustier than that after 1 winter and only put them on in November (on my car). Monroe and Rancho are the same company.

Yes for a Rancho shock. I had a few sets on my 03 and they all looked horrible after some time.

Update. Front rancho quick lift strut adjustment **** froze up. I can't get it to move for crap. So i already returned the rear xl9000. And as soon as my fox 2.0 front struts get here I'm returning the quick lifts too. The Ranchos just couldn't hang.

Did you ever get the shocks taken care of?
