Default Quick question about levling kits

I just received the 2" leveling kit I ordered for my 2015. It's nothing more than coil spacers. The thing is, each ring is only 1" thick. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something here. If it's supposed to raise my truck up 2", shouldn't the spacers be 2" thick? I'm pretty sure the vendor sent me the wrong rings, yes/no?

1 inch is about right for 2 inches of lift. Pushing the upper spring mount down 1 inch moves the spindle down about 2.

Ah, I didn't know that. I never installed a leveling kit before. I figured it was a 1:1 ratio.

Well, don't I feel like an idiot...

I just opened the package and looked at the install instructions. The very first line on the page (in bold letters and underlined) says "the thickness of the spacer is less than the total lift the kit will provide."
