Default Proper Way to lift F-250LD 4x4

I have seen a lot of talk about how lift keys are not the way to go and how cranking on the key adjustment is a better way or even getting a full lift kit is the only solution. The problem i am having is my truck is an F-250 Light Duty.

I have already talked to Fabtech, BDS, and Pro-Comp and all three do not recommend using their kits with my truck. The main issue is my truck has the same calipers as the 99-04 Lightning and their spindle kits do not accommodate that type of caliper. Also i think but i am not 100% sure but i believe the F-250 LD came with a heavier Torsion bar than the F-150.

I am not looking for much lift, somewhere in the 1.5"-4" range. So would keys be OK or would i just need to keep trying to find someone that makes a kit for this truck?

For the amount of lift your after I would just crank your stock keys, much cheaper and easier than finding a kit for your truck.

how about lifting 6"? I was also thinking about a Camburg or Dixon Bros but the main problem i have is my brakes. My truck has Lightning calipers stock and most spindles are designed for the smaller and flat base F150 calipers.
