i just ordered a set of cooper discoverer stt's. 33x12.5 17's. my wife had a set of these on her truck when i met her and they are pretty bad ass. not real loud and traction in about anything you can throw at them. excellent side walls dont take much damage.

here is the thing about tires, especially "big" tires in the 35+ range. They usually go on lifted trucks. Lifted trucks are usually tough to get a proper alignment. You can put a good tire on a badly aligned truck and destroy the tire in a matter of months, now matter how good the tire. Find a tire you like, get a good alignment, and keep those tires rotated and balanced. Its good protection on your 1000 dollar investment in rubber.

I have them on my truck and have never had any issues with them. Have had them for two years and rotated them only once. The tread on them is still in "new" condition. I guess I am not seeing the wear and tear you guys are from them....?
