Default Black Widow F150

Hello all, just purchased a F150 Black Widow and I don’t really like the stance of the truck how it sits with the SCA lift. I want to add some 1 1/2” tower spacers and an add a leaf to the rear to get the stance I want. Looking the SCA lift over, it doesn’t look like it would hurt the geometry overall, but I will add an adjustable track bar for axle alignment just in case. Am I missing anything that could be catastrophic?

I would check the height of the differential drop before I added 1 1/2" spacers. Even though the truck is technically lifted 6" over stock, the diff drop is likely not 6", so you're basically already starting with a "level" before you even add your spacers (which is basically another "level").

What don't you like about the stance? Can the stance be corrected another way? It looks like SCA put a lot of thought into the design and making sure everything works together. If there were a way to get the stance the way you like without playing around with the suspension, that might be worth looking into.

Can you post some photos of the truck?

The rear squats a little bit and I’m not a fan of the wheel clearance when it’s turning. It doesn’t rub or anything but it’s close. For the amount of money I spent on this thing I want it to fit my expectations (which are sometimes too picky)

I saw your other post with your purchases. I saw that you got the 2" level spacers. You cannot put 2" level spacers on top of a 6" lift. They might "technically" fit but your geometry will be off by too much. Your differential is probably dropped about 5". With a 2" level on top of your 6" lift, that's 8" of lift on a 5" diff drop. That is not advisable.

Thanks for the info. I’m going to replace the front lift spacer with BDS struts and then go with the spacer with some Pro Comp UCA’s…it’s what custom offsets recommended
