Post Your F150 Prerunner Pics
I see a lot of F150's in the mud posted on this forum, but how about us guys that live in the desert? Post your prerunner pics, here are a couple shots of mine.

Yeah, I was seduced by the bling but they offer a quality product for sure. I spent some time in an ICON truck prior to making my investment but I haven't been able to take mine out since it was finished - cancer diagnosis.
The coilovers have a much heavier spring rate than Fox or King so we opted to eliminate the sway bar. The biggest complaint folks have about the ICON 3.0s is when you encounter small sharp hits at slower speeds - a function of the heavy springs IMO. I prefer the higher rate to counter the pig iron under the hood.
Here is a vid ICON released - all the same gear on mine:

VDF can probably give a more articulate response but I would go with a lighter spring rate.
Keep in mind, my shocks/coilovers aren't the same animals as what is available for your truck. Not a knock or sleight at all, just different applications, sizes and spring rate requirements.

You want your shocks set as soft as possible without bottoming, this is much easier to get with bypass shocks as they have two or more settings. Other shocks will be a ballance.
you then choose your spring rate for your weight and your desired amount of attitude movement of the chassis. Softer springs give more traction as long as they can still can hold the truck at ride height
Keep in mind this is offroad only and based on my knowledge from racing 1/8 nitro truck and buggy (I raced pro level against ty tessman but there still just toys) so take it with a grain of salt

He's ^^^ right. The issue with the Raptor is the front is so damn heavy that I prefer a higher rate so I can keep control at speed but my low speed suffers a bit. Some guys run Fox 3.0s but get a custom spring from Eibach that's a tad heavier. The seem very happy with that combo and have no complaints about slow speed jarring.
Ultimately I'll probably get a 650lb spring vs the 675lb I'm running now - should solve the problem.
