Lol a real prerunner costs 4-8 times as much as a big lifted truck so I don't think that's gunna happen.

But how was mounting the bedsides? How long did it take you?

Ya I like both lifted and pre runner style, its funny how many people look at you like your from mars when you say your building a pre runner lol. The box sides took me about 4 days from stripping the old box to getting the fiberglass hung, I had to do a lot of chopping of the box to get them to fit. I was very disgusted of the quality of the box sides I got. The fiberglass thickness was all over the place, poor quality gelcoat, and totally unfinished in places, I even sent a email off to MCNEIL telling them how unhappy I was and of course it went unaswered (not surprised) about there quality of the parts
So I'd suggest buying else where, glassworks has AWESOME quality of fiberglass fit and finish is amazing, But never order from them directly because you will never get it (long story). Of all the people I have delt with I'd say RPG are awesome guys and that's where I got my front fenders threw finally.

Yeah I'm going glassworks bedsides because my front fenders are from them and they fit great. I don't have the issue of not receiving the stuff because they're 15min from my house so I pick up stuff in person with cash in hand. Was it necessary to take the whole box off? I'm planing on just unbolting it and sliding it back some to get to the spot welds. Glassworks wants $500 to install them, think it's worth it?

We always get great service from Fiberwerx. Also you have to remember fiberglass is mlnot going to be the same as mount a stamp steel replacement panel.

To make getting your old bedsides off easier get a spot weld cutter from Blair Equipment Company. Using it we can get a bedside in no time at all.

Oh no I totally agree, hell you can get bad steel replacement panels for a car and truck espically when you cheap out on panels! I don't like bashing anyone, but the glassworks were like dropping on a factory panel on the truck, I worked harder on getting the factory ones off lmao. I've just seen quality fiberglass before and the bedside are far from it.

Ya we do the install and we have options. If you want the factory bumper back on or if you want a prerunner bumper we customize the bedsides to look better with that type of bumper. From Fiberwerx they come molded for the factory bumper.

PM me and I can give you a quote.

Well if there gonna do a quality job I say hell ya get them to do it, like if you think about it a body shop charges 12 hours to r&r one box side plus paint on top of that. My parents Harley edition got hit while it was parked and thats what they wanted.

In all honest this is what I did and i think its smart. A auto wreakers wants $2400 for a used truck box around here so I looked around for a damaged box I found a box from a truck that only had 1500 miles on it and the house it was parked beside caught fire, poor truck :'( . So half the paint was burnt off the box but WHO CARES the box sides are getting ripped off ANYWAYS, i paid $600 bucks for it. Then I had all the time in the world to do the box sides while I drove my truck. Then after I swapped out truck boxes I put mine up for sale, even if I get $1500 who cares I just made money making my truck look better :-)
