Newbie. bone stock 06 5.4 4x4, replacement for a not-so-stock double-ought 5.4 4x4

two questions: loganberry, I used to live in Sackoftomatoes and it took me two hours to get to the east bay. do you park the buck-and-a-half and take the ferrari over the grapevine to make SD in 2.5 hours?

obusnizzle, sorry but wtf is that handle? oops that make 3 questions. you seem pretty up on difs. I'm getting varying feedback from others i've asked. spool is out, i actually drive on the road too and don't own stock in a tire company. the power trax look like a neat, easy idea, but i'm skeptical about the reliability/durability. I would like to put a detroit locker in back and a detroit suretrack up front. both are open diffs now. I spend most of my time commuting, but when I need 4x4 i'm usually a long way from home and AAA usually ain't an option. what are your thoughts on the arb air lockers and/or eaton elockers?
