Independent Front Suspension...


Smoother ride and better handling on the road but that is about where the advantages stop when it comes to wheelin'


IFS does not articulate (flex) like a Straight Axle can. Expensive to get more useful suspension travel that a Straight Axle. A bitch to fix on the trail...etc etc etc

I understand, it seems that most modern cars all have IFS including
some of the cars in my offroading group.

They've all held through till now but they've also swapped out most of there stock parts.
