Default Nitto trail grappler 35..

So I'm putting some nitto TG 35x12.5r20 on y 2013 fx4 4x4 I will be putting a 2.5 level kit on and running my stock rims that came with the appearence package. Wondering if I will need wheel spacers or will the level be enough to get by for a couple of months until I get a suspension lift and better rims with an offset.

You should be alright. You'll have to do some trimming of some plastic parts, but that just comes with the territory of bigger tires.

i figured there would be some trimming just making sure the tire won't rub against anything mechanical.

Some people have rubbing issues and some do not. That tire is actually almost 13.5" wide, it's not a true 12.5" tire.

I have 40 15.5 r22 nitto mud grapplers on my truck and I had to buy spacers because when you turn the corner it catches the plastic on the inside of your wheel wells.

I have a Rough Country 2.5" level with 1" in the back. Just put 295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on my '09 f150 with OEM wheels. (Looks awesome!) Tires measure out to be 34.3" and BARELY fit without rubbing the support arm! I dont think I could get anything any bigger unless I had a wheel with negative backspacing. However my vehicle is also 2WD.

I recommend being very careful with wheel spacers. My brother recently installed some on his 2012 Mustang and while driving 2 weeks ago had the bolts on the spacer break under pressure of a slow turn and his front right wheel fell off while driving. This caused damage to his caliper, rotor, and body damage to his front bumber and right fender.

I have decided to go with a new set of rims instead of wheel spacers thanks for the heads up tho!
