Default Nitto mud grappler tires 37x13.50x18.

So this week, I planned a trip to Yosemite National Forest in California. I first did a meet and greet with Kris AKA SFCHundo, up in Clovis CA, http://www.truckmodcentral.com/forum...2&postcount=40 Then I headed up to Yosemite National Forest to enjoy the snow. When I finally got up to a point where I was forced to install my chains, one of the chain's tension straps broke on me, bummer. Luckily I had bungee cords which I used as a substitute. Problem was the bungees weren't strong enough to keep the chains in place. Anyways I was able to make it the hotel where we were staying and planned on coming down the next day to purchase some better straps.

Well, the next day as I came down the hill I came to a spot where chains weren't required anymore, I proceeded to remove them and found out that the chains had been chewing on my fiberglass. That was the moment I said to myself, "myself, screw the chains, get some snow tires yo", and myself responded, "hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about bro." So I purchased 4 NITTO MUD GRAPPLER TIRES 37X13.50X18.

What ya guys think? Good purchase or not?

This guy came about 2ft in front of me, don't think he was posing for pictures, I think he was begging for food.

And had to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.

He Said thanks

Then I found out the reason they haven't cleared the roads for me. Well its just a Chrysler who cares. :loser:

Badass pictures! I'd say good purchase, they seem to be a good tire for mud, snow I don't know? To expensive for my to purchase right now. But I'd def buy them if I had the dough.

Tell your wife hi!

And that's pretty funny they had to jack your truck outside of their building since your truck is so big. HAHA.

Hey, they look awesome! If they're anything like the BFG Mud Terrains I had on my last truck they were INCREDIBLE in the deep snow. Bite well, and had good sidewall traction. Problem is they SUCK on ice or hard snow or wet pavement. This is due to no siping in the tires. I had mine siped and felt safe driving on ice roads after...but I would not have gone without siping. Nope...they're mud tires, not snow and ice!
