Default NFab Question

Sorry if this is a repost. I searched and came up with nothing. Do Cab Length Nfabs stick out enough to help with door dings? Like shopping carts and car doors slamming open into my door?

No, and the steps are kinda slippery. They look nice but aren't the most useful, I'm either going to make some changes to mine or get something different. This is on an 11 SCrew

The stock chrome tubular bars are pretty useless also. Can't get enough of my foot on them when wearing any of my steel toe boots.

They get pretty slippery in this MN winter weather, or when wet.
