Brief exposure to sand won't hurt it. Worst case is sand in your air filter. Just don't drive into a sand bank.

Go to a car wash as soon as you can and make sure to get an Under Body wash. The sea breeze will leave the car covered in a layer of salt deposits.

That's what my buddy told me. Hit the car wash after the beach.

Be sure and spray the heck out of your brakes as well when you hit the carwash. I learned the hard way with my 78 when I had it from running in creeks when I was younger

I always wash the entire truck with a psi washer then take the wheels off and wash off the brake calipers and all tht good stuff then spray it all with PB blaster to keep the rust away

I just drive out. I never air down and when I get back I just take a waterhose and spray everything down really well making sure sand doesn't stay anywhere
