Exclamation New here - 30" Lifted F150 problems

Soooo, I went from having my old 13" lifted Chevy c1500 2wd to this 1999 ford F150 with a 30" lift on 44's. I was on fullsizechevy.com and had many posts helping people lift their vehicles.

So I'm new here, Have had my truck 1 year now and well i found it sitting in a junk yard for 3 years! Since I got it last year, I've put 3 new tranny's in because the dumb mechanics couldn't figure out the first time that my Driveshaft angles were out of whack and well I solved that and tranny is fine (stock tranny on a 4.6l v8) small motor but hey one day I'd like to swap a PowerStroke in it. (broke atm). Picked truck up with 100k on it for $6,500 with basically needing every tune up and a tranny.

Ever since I bought it, it's been smoking like a burning house and progressively got better over the year, now it seems to only smoke while under a load or heavy acceleration.... hmm..... recently also been having electrical issues of truck blowing PCM fuse while driving, leaving me stranded. Found my Air intake was off and assume that's why, not sure how that could blow a fuse. Fuse would blow with just the accessory key half turned, odd. Maybe the MAF was doing it?

This is my first Ford and well so far motor still working but I feel skeptical on making a long drive with it. But so far its getting 12mpg on the 44's with 7.11 gear ratio I did....! I know weird numbers.

I'll be on here often and look forward to the community,

Thanks!
