Default Need more travel lol

Poor truck was rubbing the ground just driving around the farm not even doing anything too dumb...

I really need new tires. Those badYears suck...had to put it in 4wd to go up hills

SOme bilsteins 5100's and a 3 inch rear block needs to happen too...

That truck does bottom out very easy. but i guess its alright for a stock crew cab.

get some deaver leaf springs and bilstein shocks and you will get true wheel travel and not just increased ride height

I had a similar problem with poor ground clearance... my biggest complaint about this truck is that in order to have a "flat floor" the cab sits on top of the frame instead of around it, so it FEELs higher than it is.

This is what I did to my Tranny cross-member:

Got a replacement from Tasca for relatively cheap... but still sucks.
I did a 2" level in the front and swapped the rear block for 3"... going to put 34s on when I get an opportunity (and funds)...

How low the cross-member, transfer case, and driveshaft is really makes for some issues when trying to drive around off-road. What would really be nice is if we had a double-cardan style drive-shaft linkage so that we could rotate the rear axle upwards and get the driveshaft further away from the ground.... it'd only be about 2-3" difference, but sometimes that is enough.

Thanks for the compliments

Ya 2 more inches would be amazing... i wouldnt of rubbed there with 2 inches more..

Hobbes 80 a friend of mine did that same thing and he never goes off road... That piece is too low and weak imo.

Gibby 777 Deaver doesnt make leaf springs for 09+ trucks... Only the raptor but maybe the raptor leafs are the same as fx4's??

And how do people fit those 12.5 wide tires on these things??? Seems like it would rub the fender if you look at picture #3. Maybe they dont actually take their truck out? because there was not much room left there...

deaver will make any leaf pack you want. They will do custom work as well as their mass produced product.

you should be able to fit up to a 38x15.5 in the rear wheel well. i know i could stuff my old 38's barely. the 41s don't fit.

it looks like its hitting but its not
