Need input on lift kit!!!
I have a 94 150 4x4 currently stock suspension with 33x12.5s on now but want to do 6 inch suspension what would be a good lift for road and off road for me (i have been looking at the rough country 6in is this my best bet on a budget?)

I just ordered the Rough Country 6" for my '09. I dont know if the RC lift has front strut replacement for your truck or strut spacers like on mine - what I would say is it sounds like RC is good quality, but if you want better off road articulation or plan on doing serious off roading like rock crawling or a lot of trail riding, I would consider something like Skyjacker or Rancho- they are more expensive, but are a bit beefier and offer a complete front strut replacement in the front and add-a-leafs in the rear rather than blocks.

I had this feeling as well i dont plan on any rock climbing of sorts just a little mud every once in a while mostly on the road and i have a few leaf springs left from a parts truck and planned on using the leaf springs rather than the blocks thank you

i have had the 6 inch rough country on my truck for a couple months now. 94 also. good so far. the front coils are starting to get wore in a lil bit, but i haven't had a single problem with it and i do the occasional muddin

did you install the kit your self and how was the brake lines and brake hoses after the lift were they needed to be changed to longer hoses and lines or any other snags you ran into?
