The spindle? You mean the upper control arm? It will spin around and around....its a ball joint. If you heat the nut up, you should be able to spin it up and down if you have some pressure on the nut from someone else prying the control arm down with a pry bar.

Did you unbolt the stabilizer link? Getting the shock out is the easy part I thought.

But yes, good call on getting it done professionally if you're unsure or having troubles.

Put a 10mm on the very bottom of the ball joint then use a open end/box end wrench or crescent wrench to spin the nut off.

The problem I'm sure is that the balljoint is probably spinning and not allowing the nut to back off.

The spindle isn't stripped, there nothing to strip.

If your having all this trouble with the sway bar end links and ball joints I would suggest you stop what your doing and hire a professional.

Heating the nut also will melt the plastic in it which is the "locking" part of the nut and make it usless!

On the 2014s although I havnt installed one on a 14 (have done dozens or other years) I have read you either need to unbolt the LCA from the frame or knock the studs on the LCA out to get the bottom in!

Yes the lca is the only way to do it vut im not sure if taking that off will hurt the driveshaft not worth the risk and the studs in the bottom of the shock are permanent

They are NOT permanent! If they were F150Lifts wouldn't include new bolts in there Boss Kit.

That is Identical it is a 2 post and pin mount. You can press the studs out with the shock in a vice.
