Need help... Can I level or do I need a lift now?
Any help is greatly appreciated... I have a 2012 Ford F-150 Lariat Supercrew 4x4. Purchased Eagle Alloy Series 79 wheels that are 18x9" with -12 offset and 4.46" of backspace and had Nitto Terra Grappler LT295/70R18 mounted and balanced. Will a 2.5" level work on the truck or am I going to need to get an actual lift now? A test mount of the tire has it catching a small piece of the front bumper skirt. Worse though, when turning left it catches the decorative trim around the well on the inside...

Even with the back spacing on the wheel being 4.46" vs the stock 5.5"? I know the 1.5" level won't work and it sure seemed the 2" would be tight...?
P.S. Thanks for the reply. It is appreciated.

I decided to go with a mild suspension lift due to the offset and backspace issues. Rough Country makes a 4" suspension lift that will accommodate my wheels and is at a price point that won't get me thrown out of the house. Thanks for the input everyone.

I am not about those wheels, but I was running those same tires on stock wheels and a 2" level. There were no problems whatsoever with rubbing. I also had a 1.5" spacer and that caused no problems either. Now, however, with a 4" BDS lift I love them even more and still have no problems.
