Offroad suspension help!!
I recently bought a 2014 ecoboost fx4 last fall and have only recently off roaded with it in the Pine Barrens. I'm looking for a suspension lift that is capable of taking on bumps at high speeds like that of a prerunner type build without the high cost of one. can anyone throw me some pointers as to which lift kits work well

That lift should do what you want with the Fox coilovers. Otherwise you could do a raptor swap if you can find the take off parts. That's usually $1500-2000 for the suspension parts and then you'll need fiberglass fenders.

The coilovers are going to improve the offroad ride and capability, the lift kit does nothing other than allow you to install larger tires.
If you really want to go fast offroad look at a long travel system like this one, it will cost about the same as the BDS but is on a different level when it comes to offroad performance - Dirt King Fab 09+ Long Travel Suspension Kit Preview!

Suspension travel is the amount of distance from the suspension being fully bottomed out to fully extended. A "long travel" kit increases this amount to allow the suspension more motion to better handle impacts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspens...icle%29#Travel
A standard F150 has about 8-9" of travel in stock form, a Raptor has 11. These kits provide about 13-14" of travel. Race trucks have anywhere from 18" to 30" on the unlimited trophy trucks.
If you want to go fast offroad, you need more shock and more travel.

It really depends on what you are trying to do with the truck. Based on your original post wanting a prerunner type build, long travel is the way to go.
If you wanna stuff big tires on it and cruise, the BDS is a great system.
If you are trying to do highspeed, sand dune running offroad - long travel will perform much better in this case.
