mud vs truck

when attempting to spin the tires on pavement only one will spin in most cases, but with the locker both will. But with the front locked turning will skip the tires. When referring to normal driving i meant normal 4wd driving in the snow or ice.
Winters here have been bad (washington) and king county doesnt quite know how to handle a blizzard.
Ive debated lockers, but i dont 4wheel enough for them. I use my 4wd a lot for work so a locked front end would be a pain.

i have a question for the mud guys. what do you guys use to more easily get that bad mud from sticking to the under carraige? there's some stuff that you can buy from speedway but i was wondering about any home made solutions. thanks in advance and i'm sorry for the jack.

we went out mudding once awhile ago and had alot of fun but didnt remove the mud from inside the engine compartment it dried up and it frooze the..........ah hell i cannot remember what it was ( i told you it was awhile ago ) but one of the drive pulleys for either the alternator or another thing in there frooze up so with it not turn, it ended up breaking the belt.
so if you go mudding make sure to clean it off afterwards :-)

if you spray wd40 in the fender wells and wherever you dont want mud, it wont stick. maybe for a bit, but itll fall off pretty quick. i suppose PAM would work too. ha ha.
simple green gets it clean though. spray it on with a spray bottle, then power wash it off.

solution to keeping mud from sticking to the undercarriage.. Don't Drive In The Mud! problem solved haha i have never worried about the undercarriage i like when i hit a bump and a car is behind me and all the dry mud rattles off and bounces behind me on the road i wouldn't worry to much might **** some people off IE. parents/wife, dropping dried/wet mud in the driveway when closing doors(personal experience numerous occasions)

Don't worry about anything unless you plan on jumping your truck or doing some actual 4-wheeling. If its just slidin' around in a muddy field you should be fine. Around here people go muddin in Corollas and Accords haha
