Default Mud truck project

Me and my buddies like to do a little mudding on the weekends and I wanna make my truck a little better in the mud right now I have a 94 f150 4x4 with a 302 and 5 speed and 3.55 ls gears I wanted to put a 3 inch body lift and leveling coils on and then put some 33's on my truck and was wondering is 3.55 gears good enough for 33's and is there any benefit to suspension lift in the mud and on the trail versus a body lift other then a smooth ride and also is there anything else I'm missing that I should do or anything that I didn't mention that would help me in the mud? Thanks for the help

Do you Want a mud truck? Or are you wanting your daily driver to do decent in the mud? 3.55s and 33 will do ok and suspension lift vs body lift is all personal preference and pocket depth. Tires are the most important thing to look at for traction and of course super swamper is Gunna have the best mud tire in my opinion. But it all depends on pocket depth!!!!

33's with 3:55's will be ok, and you may not notice much difference since you have a 5 speed. the only thing i see here that you could be missing is some lockers front and rear but those cost big $$$ and you might as well step up to 35's and regear to a 4.10 or 4.11 with all that.

33's might look a tad small with a level and a bl but for a DD it'll be pretty good. my buddy has a 89 and he could fit 33's stock.. with the 3" bl 35's fit all day long.

I have mud dawgs on my truck and they perform well and I have put around 40000 miles and still have tread left and they ran me like 180 a piece. And they are 285/70/17
