Military tire questions

Hi,

Its time for a new set of tires, I just need some help confirming some info. Right now I have 37" Goodyear MT H1's on. I wanna figure out how they are in comparison to 37" BFG H1's, and the 37" Goodyear Dura-wall's. My driving is 60% road, 20% mud and 20% sand. For the beach, I want to be able to air my tires down, and I was told that the BFG's can be. Is this true?

Its http://www.militaryoffroadtires.net/...t-37125165.htm
versus http://www.militaryoffroadtires.net/...-p/t-bfg37.htm
versus http://www.militaryoffroadtires.net/...-p/t-bfg37.htm

Please let me know pros and cons of these in comparison to each other.

Thanks in advance,
John

Those are all for 16.5 inch rims. Do you have 16.5 inch rims? If not, then you can't run them.

The point of a 16.5 is so people don't put light duty truck tires on a bigger truck (or humvee). They're good tires for what you want to do but unless you have 16.5 inch rims, then they won't work.

Yes, as stated, I currently have military tires on. 16.5x9.75 pro comp 52 series wheels. I'm just trying to get a comparison tire to tire to see what best fits my needs.

Are you running 16.5 inch wheels as well?

Thanks, nfldfordman. Any expertise? My main question, can the BFG H1's be aired down?

don't take me as gospel as I have no first hand experience, but I've heard through my researches you want a real functional beadlock if you're gonna air tires like that down including those bfgs. I don't know if your rims have beadlock or not, if so you should be totally fine
