I 'think' you can use your knuckles but you should validate that.

You should also get a set of front fenders so you don't stuff the tires into them.

All you need out back is a spring pack and longer brake line.
Thank you! That's pretty much what I expected I'd need. I'll definitely look into whether I can use my knuckles on raptor length axles. Really appreciate the help!

Any knowledge here about the 15+ differences between base and raptor? Considering doing Camburg Raptor UCAs and factory 17' Raptor lowers, axles, tie rod ends, and knuckles(if needed).

The differences are the same G1-G2.
I.E. UCAs, LCAs, axles, tie rods, brake lines, larger coilovers/shocks, wider rear diff, fenders/bedsides, etc

As long as you stick with 17 Raptor or 15+ aftermarket you'll be fine.

Default Wow, some seriously sick setups! Dayum!

I am in awe of some of those setups. I spent a lot of time in Baja and I'd see those guys scream by me on the washboard and just be envious.

I just bought my 2016 F150 Crew Cab 4x4 here in Mexico where I live but I am coming up to Oceanside in 2 months to do some suspension, shell, racking and undercarriage protection along with front and rear facing cameras and GPS.
Wheels and tires, too.

Soooooo...... I don't need to jam over washboards at 75mph but I would like to cruise a steady 30 without worrying about frosty beverages in the back auto-opening.

Also, I don't want a huge lift because parking down here can be precious and tough to get into. If I can keep it under 3" I would be stoked.

I also want to crawl over rocks like I would need to do to get into some of the better surf spots down here and also to crawl up some of the rougher hills and roads into cool spots that the crowds don't get into.

And, ultimately, I have to drive it on cobblestone roads all the time and where potholes can be 6-10 inches deep!

I really would like to keep it under 3kUSD if I can but I am open to suggestions and I am willing to throw down the money when I get to SoCal.

Man, amazing stuff!

If $3K is your budget, a pair of King 2.5 Coilovers up front and Piggybacks in the rear is a great start.

But if you are looking to crawl over rocks, hit whoops etc...Suspension set up is going to cost you a little bit more than your budget.

Our Chase kit includes our Boxed UCA, King Shocks and rear King Piggybacks. This set up will be right there around $3K.

Default Aren't all budgets malleable?

I just threw that number out there but I would like to stay close.

Hitting whoops in not something I do at speed purposely.... driving on washboard like, lets say between Bahia de Los Angeles down through El Arco, comfortably is.

Gotcha!

Our Chase Kit will definitely be a great option to help you with that and still keep you within your budget.

Email me directly at jt@bajakits.com if you have any more questions.

Thanks
