I could imagine all matte black (top to bottom) with a post apocalyptic look....

I think most people who build prerunners do want them as low as possible. But with that said the reason they do get a bit taller is because of the suspension needs. So if you just want something that looks like a prerunner but not have a MT or LT suspension then Im sure you could just add some fenders and wheel spacers and get the look you are looking for.

It would have to have like a ridiculous amount of downward travel and like barely any upward travel. Kinda like a rally car I guess.

Here is my take on what he's looking for. Given it's a ranger you get the idea. Its still stock height but looks sweet in my opinion.

That ranger is what I'm looking at doing. Except with add a spare tire or two in the bed on a cage

I don't understand why you would spend all of the time and money to not be able to do anything beyond what a stock truck could do.

That orange ranger raced an offroad race here in Vegas with the windows up and AC on. That truck had a full cage, fuel cell and all the safety equipment needed to race.
