If your not dead set on BFGs or Toyos, check these guys out, Cooper S/T Maxx, a new MT/AT Hybrid. I was a BFG fan boy on my 07, but I wanted a bigger tire that would fit OE wheels, and just wasn't happy with their selection in the 18" range.

I got some in 295/70r18 (34.5x11.5) on my OE wheels, with a 1.5" level, w/ no trimming. I have plans to run a chase kit / coilover lift later, but for right now it has been good. Tires are quite too.

I also recommend a 1.5"-2.5" Add-a-leaf and you stock block over the 3" block, if you pan on towing. It will also get rid of some of the axel wrap these things have.

That's a great look! I will definitely look into those tires.

Today I was leaning towards a 305/55 bfg ko2 on my stock 20's with a 2" in the front and still undecided/unsure on the back.

This is all so new to me haha. I've done a lot of reading and made a lot of calls and everyone has a different opinion. But from what I gathered, my original idea wasn't going to work. Basically, I want the biggest decent quality a/t tire I can get away with on a 2" lift.

We do a lot of off road camping and I have canopy and heavy gear in the back which is why I wanted a bigger rear. I also like the look of it.

Does anyone ever stack blocks on the back? What if I did that and replaced the shocks?

Another thing someone mentioned to me was to be careful of voiding my warranty. I didn't think of that... Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks again guys.

There is quite a few people running the RCX 2.5" lift, which is a 2.5" leveling spacer, and a 1" block to stack in the rear.

Personally I do not like the idea of stacking, but theirs seems safe enough the way it is designed, it has the pegs just like the factory block, so the lock into each other. I haven't read of any failures due to their kit either.

AAL or Add-a-Leaf kits are what most people go with that tow or carry heavier loads, it not only provides lift but will firm up the rear end some and give it a little extra load capacity, even though you still can not exceed your truck rated capacity. If you go this route I recommend a long add-a-leaf, it will provide a slightly softer ride and a little less left after settling occurs. Usually they add 1.5" - 2.5" of lift. The extra plus as stated, this will help diminish axle wrap in the rear end.

Then there is air bags- lift and lower as needed, to suite your ride height and stiffness.

As far as warranty goes, this highly depends on the dealer, some will work with you, others won't. While technically they can not deny warranty unless the installed part caused failure thanks to the Magnusen-Moss Act, good luck proving other wise, in some cases. I had the dealer install my level when I bought the truck to avoid this, hence the reason I only have a 1.5" level.

I don't think anyone on here has had issues with warranty after a level though, as long as you stay under 3" in the front, these trucks handle it petty well.

I have one of those stacking RCX level blocks for the rear. Seems like a non issue that they are stacked, I wouldn't want to stack like a 6" block or anything ridiculous, but that 1" block on top of factory 1.25" block is a non issue. Just make sure you tighten and then retighten the ubolts again after a thousand miles or so

Well I ended up getting a 2" and 2" and going with 305/55/20 ko2's. (got an insane deal at $390 each installed) Different than what I first proposed but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Huge thanks to my big brother for helping install the levels

Before, after the level and all said and done pics!

Hey everyone,

Well, I've almost been talked into trading my truck in and getting a 2017 xlt sport fx4...

Question, would I be able to take the blocks and spacers I put on my 2014 off and put them on my 2017? What are your thoughts?
