Default Lookin to lift my 2012 FX4

I'm looking for suggestions for a good suspension lift for my FX4. I have a 2" leveling kits on it now but want to go up 4"-6".
Does 4 or 6" look better and which is more functional?
What brand of lift? Rough country has there's on sale for $999, but I'm open to what is best!
Thank in advance

What's your budget? What are you using the truck for?

Rough Country, BDS and Fabtech all have 4" and 6" kits available.

You'll be happy with any of them.

Of course the cheaper the better but I'd say $2k.
Mostly hwy use but usually go off road slinging mud once a month. Like trails and also have 70 acres of field and trees for cattle and row crops I drive the perimeter

4 inch for 35's, 6 inch for 37's. With 37's you're going to need a regear or the truck will have no power. 35's, you will lose some but it will be fine if you don't tow much and if you have 3.73's it should be okay anyways.

IMO 6 inches and 35's is too tall which is funny because that's what's on my half ton right now...

That's what I've been thinking about -- Going from 6" to 4".

So I'm in the same boat, but have decided to go 4" on 35's so I can still fit in my garage with ease. I have been reading a lot about the different lifts and wanted to see what some of you thought as well.

I like the price of the Rough Country but I hear the ride quality is poor. I'm a little confused by this because the RCX retains the factory coil overs. Do people say it rides like crap because they hate the factory ride? My end goal is a set of custom cut Icons.

I have also looked into the Fabtech and BDS as well. When comparing the basic systems it doesn't appear to be too different excluding the RCX rear block and that the Fabtech has a replacement strut.

What have you run and what are your thoughts on my options?

You'd probably be better off with 35's on the 4 and 6 inch kits. You'll have to cut a lot to clear 37's on 6 inches. I rub with 37's on an 8 inch kit.
