That all depends on what you want to spend, Detroits are moderately priced the selectable lockers tend to cost more though. The Detroits are basically bullet proof and will cause handling quirks, the e-locker and ARB are open until you push the button. Both styles give the same traction when actuated but will give different handling when active and deactive on the selectable, the automatic will not change its handling charactaristics.

The automatic lockers will mechanically unlock in a corner, you could still get some locking and cause the tires to chirp, with a Electric locking diff or ABS system air or electricity is used to engage the locker. and then can be turned off when not needed on street use.
a quick look on 4wheel parts site i did not see a listing for the 9.75 rearend..for ABS or e locker just automatic.
A track loc would run 380
a eaton posi would run 550
detroit 650
alburn ecetc locker X
ARB X
dettroit tru trak 550
eaton elocker X
another option to a full replacement carrier is the powertrax or simialr ez locker ect.it is easier to install, it just replaced the spider gears
powertrax 550
personally i would recommend something selectable but they tend to run more money like 800-1000 or just run a posi unit(eaton or a OEM fFord unit). it will just give you better street mannerisims and better daily driveability

My ford racing posi helps me tractor through the sand dunes in a 2wd without getting stuck. They aren't just for better street driving Take the extra traction any way you can get it and it will help wherever you go. Good luck!

The only problem with limited slips are that they are limited. In conditions where both tire get some traction they will both slip, get in conditions where only one tire has traction and you sit there spinning one tire. I would go with a selectable locker myself.
