Limits of stock 4wd system?

All I did to mine is put some BFG's A/T on there and take it easy and it did great. Like everyone said don't go hog wild unless you got the bucks. And make sure to GO WITH A BUDDY!!!!!!!!!

2005 fx4 5.4 v8 bf goodrich all terrain tires rancho rs 5000 shocks 2.5 front level kit , i have to say i'm 44 years old i'v had a few 4 wheel drive trucks in my life, have not had a 4 wheel drive in about 9 years, i went off road the other day, did'nt over do it but went thru some rough & muddy holes. { I HAVE TO SAY THE FX4 DID GREAT}

I just took mine out with a friend who had a jeep. You have nothing to worry about unless you start doing really stupid stuff. The one puddle I went through was like 2 feet deep and 20 feet long. Just go in at a good speed
