Default Lifting my truck and I need some advice...

I want to lift my 1996 F-150 but I need to know somethings first.

I'm going to go with a 4" suspension lift. The question I have it about the tire size. I want the tire to fill the fender. I was going to go with 33's but I don't think thats going to cut it. Will 35's do the trick?

I don't really off-road/mud much. But I do enjoy running through a mud hole every now and then, or pulling someone out. Mainly I'm going for that aggressive look. I don't want my truck WAY up in the air.

I ment to add this... This is what my truck looks like with 31's no lift.

This is what my stock truck looks like on 33s. im sure you can pull off 35s on a 4" lift, you might have to trim your bumper.

If your going with a 4" lift then I would put 36" tires under it. I have 35" tires on mine with a 3" lift and I don't have a leveling kit on it. I did trim about an 1 1/4 off the front bumper though but you can't tell. I don't like a giant gap between the tire and wheel well. The tires will rub when you turn real hard. We have radius arms on our trucks(96 and older) and it doesn't matter what you do if you put a big tire on it then it will rub them a little( it doesn't hurt anything). I got used to knowing how hard I can turn the wheel before it rubs. You still have plenty of turning radius.
