Default Lift/Level question

Just wondering, for those who have leveled with spacers, is there any contact between suspension components, specifically at full droop?

I know on my last truck (Nissan Frontier), I had a spacer that bolted to the top of the strut assembly. At full droop, the upper control arm would contact the coil bucket. It basically acted as a stop, did no damage and really only made contact a couple times when off road (and when I rotated my tires).

Without the contact, the wheel probably could have dropped another .5" before the strut was fully extended anyway.

Contemplating a 1.5" level (probably a spacer that is around 1.125" I would guess would provide that) with a 1.5" taller block in the rear.

With a 2" level in the front, the upper control arm usually hits the coil spring when you lift the truck on a hoist.

That also means the same would happen at full droop off road. Not what I was hoping to hear.

Thanks for the info.

Try a level that has an offset to change the angle of the strut. Like auto spring or heavy metal.
